How CBD Works and Why it's Healing

“CBD is the abbreviation for cannabidiol, one of the many cannabinoids, or chemical compounds, found in marijuana and hemp. You're probably already familiar with THC, which is another compound found in the cannabis plant. But unlike THC, CBD is not psychoactive.”

So if CBD is not psychoactive, how does it work and why is it healing?

Well, CBD is a compound that can be taken orally or used topically. It can come in the form of edibles, tinctures, suppositories, lotions, salves, etc.

CBD works in the body by attaching to certain receptors which in turn produces certain medicinal effects. The receptors in which the CBD attaches to is already present in the body. Most of those receptors are located in the brain, hence the therapeutic effects that deal with movement, coordination, pain, mood, emotions, appetite, memories, and other functions.

So why is CBD healing?

CBD is healing because it positively works with your body and has a lot of benefits!

CBD has been studied and shown to:

~Relieve chronic pain

~Reduce inflammation

~Reduce anxiety and depression

~Reduce acne

~Alleviate cancer-related symptoms

~Have neuroprotective properties

~Benefit heart health

~Aid in addiction and drug withdrawals

CBD is powerful because it offers an array of positive effects and benefits. There is still ongoing science and research to be done on CBD, like anything, but currently, it's a great natural remedy to use for many health issues.

We hope you continue to be open-minded and do your research because not all CBD products are made the same. It’s important to know that you are buying from a reputable company that tests its products and only includes necessary natural/organic ingredients.
