Creating a Gratitude Journal

Being grateful is a beautiful thing. When we are grateful, we feel good! The best way to feel gratitude is to think about all that you are grateful for! And to me, there is no better way than to have a gratitude journal.

A gratitude journal is a dedicated space to write down all that you are grateful for. This can include people, places, things, yourself! Anything that makes you feel gratitude.

I find that the best time to write in a gratitude journal is first thing in the morning and last thing at night. That way, you are going to sleep feeling grateful and happy and waking up the same way.

There is a lot to be grateful for in life. However, we all know life can be tough, but it’s important to keep a positive attitude and outlook!

By keeping a gratitude journal, you are subconsciously programming your mind to have a positive perspective. Plus, it’s a great tool to turn to in those low times, to remind yourself that “this too shall pass” and there is so much to be grateful for and happy about!

When you are in a state of gratitude, you are radiating and welcoming in positive energies. While being in that state, you can manifest more easily. This is because, when you are positive and are setting intentions for positive things, you get in the way of the ego. And because you aren’t letting your ego self-doubt what you are trying to manifest, the law of attraction will work its magic and come to you. You hold the power!

Being grateful also brings in abundance. You will find yourself being grateful for the things you have, the people in your life, your job, the home you live in, the life you’ve created, and yourself! And because of that, you will continue to attract all of those good things. You will be living your best, most abundant life.

Each morning or evening, simply write down everything you feel grateful for. Your life, your home, food in your belly, sunshine, coffee, your friends, breath, abundance, your pets - there's no limit! Write out anything that comes to mind and reflect on the blessings you have around you.

Taking time to feel gratitude deep down into your core is such a beautiful and sacred practice. It brings light into your life and helps in shadow work. We are only here for a short amount of time, so why not make the most of it! You’ve made it this far, and look at all you have to show for it! The things you have, the people you’ve met, the places you’ve been, the person you are, and the person you’re becoming! How can one not be grateful! But that's just us! What about you?! Do you have a gratitude journal? What does gratitude mean to you?! Thank you for reading this, we are grateful for you!

Much love & light,
