New Moon in Scorpio November 2017

The New Moon aligns on Saturday, November 18th, 2017 in the super charged and magical sign of Scorpio. The New Moon marks a time of rebirth and deep healing work, including shadow work, and Scorpio reminds us of the life:death:life cycle of all things.

If there has been an opportune moment to do some serious healing work, it's now.

2017 is coming to an end, marking the finish line on a year full of shadow work and change for most of us. Nearly every woman I know has gone through a major transition this year - divorce, moving, endings of relationships, deaths and intense inner healing - and so we are approaching the peak of metamorphosis.

This raw and deeply needed New Moon offers us the space to release, to remember and to reignite.

In more simple terms, this is the time to go deep and heal your stuff.

You've likely been feeling the Scorpio lunar alignment in the midst of Scorpio season. You may have been feeling extra sensitive, inward or tired as your body prepares to shift during the New Moon. You may also be feeling breast tenderness, cramping or bloating during this New Moon time. Scorpio also represents the cyclical nature of all things, the ever present rhythm that surrounds us.

This is a powerful reminder to look within ourselves and let go of what needs to be released and honor what is yet to come our way.

The New Moon in Scorpio is here to remind each of us that it's time to let go of the things that weigh on us and to surrender to our souls' calling.

Now is the time to get out of our own way.

With this New Moon, I hope you will take some time to meditate, get quiet and ask yourself what needs to be released. Tune into your body and what feels heavy on you.

Now is the time to let go of the things or people that weigh on you. Now is the time to return to yourself and the cycle.

--3 Suggestions for your New Moon in Scorpio--

1. Stay grounded and rest. Be still and allow your body to be at ease. The New Moon is naturally when we as women have lower energy and a need for personal space and time to be introspective. Honor your needs and take care of yourself. Practice self care and allow your body to rejuvenate. Crystals like Smokey Quartz and Black Tourmaline may also call to you during this time.

2. Journal and explore your shadow side. We all have a shadow side or a part of ourselves that maintains our ego, unconscious patterns and fears and this is a powerful space to be aware of. When we acknowledge our shadow side and understand ourselves, we seek to continue to support ourselves and heal. Pick up your journal and pen and allow your writing to become fluid and raw. What comes to mind when you think of shadow side? What part of yourself shows up in stressful or traumatic experiences? In a nonjudgmental way, explore this side of yourself.

3. Allow yourself to explore the things you are ready to let go of. I really recommend making space during this New Moon to do some releasing! Write out what you are ready to let go of in detail - anything from an experience that happened to you to a tendency you have to blame or shame or fear - just write it out and let your authenticity guide you. After you have written everything out, consider burning your paper or burying it so that it may be transformed.

You are ready for this time. We as collective humans are ready to heal, thrive and live empowered. Let this New Moon be your catalyst to greater awareness and bliss.

In gratitude,

Cassandra Wilder
