I Attended BBD Live with James Wedmore and It Changed My Life
Hi friends! For those of you who follow me on Instagram, you know that I attended BBD a few weeks ago and it was absolutely life changing. Here's more about what happened at this epic event.
In October, I was honored to attend Business By Design LIVE (BBD) with the incredible James Wedmore. As many of you know, this year I've gone above and beyond to invest in myself, study with incredible thought leaders and take both my business and personal development to the next level.
I was especially excited though for BBD with James Wedmore. Earlier this year I invested in his Business By Design course for Digital CEOs and was blown away by his knowledge, passion and sense of humor. With this training, he also extended a free pass to his live event in Orange County, California.
Those of you who know me personally know that I would NEVER turn down an excuse to go to California, so off I went!
Within the first few minutes of the event, I knew I was in the right place. A room with 600 entrepreneurs who were all hungry to do and be better was enough to make me feel at home.
And then, James came on stage and affirmed what I had been feeling: This is our space to leave limiting beliefs behind and step into the leaders that we were all destined to become.
In just 3 days, I niched down my niche, got crystal clear on how to serve my audience, made some incredible connections with fellow entrepreneurs, learned from leading experts in business and even got to meet James Wedmore himself and get a picture. (And yes... I totally fan girled...)
I am already eager to attend BBD Live again in 2020.
My biggest takeaways were these:
1) Niche down your niche. Stop trying to serve EVERYONE. When you try to serve everyone, you serve no one. Get clear on what your passion and focus is and dive in head first.
2) Be controversial, make waves and be unapologetic
3) There is a market for everything. Start something new and leave a mark on the world
If you're considering BBD, I highly recommend it! And who knows... maybe I'll see you there in 2020!
