Self care is essential for our wellbeing and there are few things as relaxing or rejuvenating as an amazing bath! During the Full Moon and throughout the month you can use this amazing recipe to custom create your own sacred bath salt blend! Looking for another self care practice for the bath time? Tune into the GoddessCeremony Podcast here to get free tips, tools and guidance!

An empowering way of celebrating and nurturing yourself during the Full Moon time, or any special time, is creating your own sacred bath salt. By mixing together soothing essential oils, flower essences and natural herbs, you can have a wonderful bath salt mix that is perfect for that much needed self-care time during the full moon phase.

You have the option to create your bath salt mix in one big batch and use it during the full moon and/or new moon over the following season. Or, some women prefer to create their bath salts in small portions and and use it for each special moon time. The choice is yours! It just depends on your preference as a woman on how you want to create your sacred blend.

Your unique bath salts can be used beyond the full moon and new moon phases. You can also create and use these salts during a lunar eclipse, or during a sacred time like a Solstice or Equinox. The energies from these sacred times will magnify your bath salts and nourish you even more!

These recipes are simply and completely customizable - so have fun! Find a combination you love and make it your go-to. This practice is a great way to honor your creativity and Divine Feminine!

Recipe for your sacred bath salt:

Ingredients you need:

-2 cups of epsom salt

-1 cup of pink himalayan sea salt

-1 cup of baking soda (aluminum-free)

-dried up herbs (a few good choices are rose, lavender, lemon balm, mugwort, jasmine, red raspberry leaf)

-Your preferred flower essence (personally, I enjoy using Evening Primrose flower essence to bring forth sacred feminine wisdom and energy

-your choice of essential oils (it may be rosemary, lavender, geranium, peppermint, orange and lemon)

-a large bowl and spoon

-small mason jars

How to create your personal sacred mix:

-Mix the baking soda, sea salt and epsom salt thoroughly in a large bowl

-Sprinkle in your preferred dried herbs, up to a quarter of a cup each

-Put in 5 drops of your chosen flower essence

-Add 5 to 10 drops of your favorite essential oils

-You may also choose to write out a sacred intention, manifestation, prayer or blessing on a paper and lay it on the bowl with your bath salt

-Mix thoroughly

-Mindfully transfer it to a little glass jar with care and use as necessary!

Remember that if you infused flower essences and essential oils, it's ideal to use the bath salts within the next month or so, for best results.

Bonus Tip! After putting your unique bath salt mix in a covered jar, you can put your jar outside on the surface of the earth overnight under the moon rays to allow some lunar energy to enter your beautiful creation.

Crystals are also great intention magnifiers for your bath salt. After putting your bath mix into a jar with a covered lid, you can put a piece of amethyst or quartz on top of it for about a day. Listen to our episode on crystals here.
