Interview with Sarah Del Rey - GoddessCeremony Sister Support

Our GoddessCeremony Team has been growing! We're beyond honored to have Sarah Del Rey as part of the GoddessCeremony family in the role of Sister Support. Sarah has revamped our social media, supported many of you via email, written beautiful articles for the blog and made a large impact already here at GoddessCeremony in just a few short months.

We are excited to interview her below so you can get to know this amazing woman and the wisdom she is bringing to GoddessCeremony as a whole! Enjoy!

Tell us a little bit about you and what called you to work with GoddessCeremony?

My name is Sarah Del Rey! I currently live in Massachusetts. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Communication. I enjoy being outside in nature, connecting with people, attending live music events, eating organic food, learning about crystals, chakras, consciousness, and holistic remedies! What called me to work with GoddessCeremony was the opportunity to utilize my communication skills to spread (conscious) knowledge and also my passion for sacred femininity and holding space for others. Becoming a part of this team really has solidified my lifestyle and is helping me to build a career I am proud of while learning life-changing lessons along the way!

What has been your favorite project in working with GoddessCeremony?

One of my favorite projects to work on is curating content for the GoddessCeremony Facebook page. To me, there is an art behind it and I very much enjoy choosing meaningful and inspiring messages and art to share!

What have you envisioned offering with your work at GoddessCeremony?

I’ve envisioned offering knowledge through writing; sharing and spreading conscious content while creating conversations and collaborations within this sacred community. I’d also love to get more involved with GoddessCeremony Retreat planning as I love planning events for people to experience and enjoy!

What has been the most impactful experience of sisterhood for you?

One of the most impactful experiences of sisterhood for me was joining a women’s circle last year. Being surrounded by like-minded, strong, feminine energy was healing in itself. Together we surrounded a beautiful and meaningful altar, did a drop in meditation, and held space for one another while we had the opportunity to share our stories and release, and did a final drop in meditation. After the circle was closed, we connected in social time where we shared delicious herbal teas and organic fruits and chocolates and had the opportunity to bond.

What is your favorite morning routine?

My favorite morning routine includes; listening to a guided meditation before I get out of bed, which helps me to breathe and set intentions for my day ahead. Taking time to stretch on my yoga mat. Oil pulling while taking a shower! And enjoying a big cup of green tea or cacao!

Coffee or Tea?

Such a tough question! I’m one of those people who goes back and forth between coffee kicks and tea kicks. Right now, I’m on a tea kick!

What books have changed your life?

The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle and The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz!

What is your go-to self-care practice?

My go-to self-care practice is going outside and being in nature. I love paddleboarding and doing a little yoga on it or hanging my hammock up somewhere in the sun! Another big one for me is writing. Being able to express my thoughts through journaling or poetry is very soothing and healing to me.

What are you passionate about learning right now?

I am passionate about learning more about herbs, plant medicine, alternative medicine, and holistic nutrition!

What is a message you wish all women could hear?

That everything you are looking for outside of yourself is already within. Do the work and trust yourself and connect to your intuition. You are the light!

We are so grateful to have Sarah on the GoddessCeremony Team! Thank you for joining us for our Interview!

With gratitude,

Cassandra Wilder
