Reflections from Michigan
This past weekend I guided a powerful Sacred Goddess Retreat in Michigan and wow - it's difficult to summarize what this weekend truly offered in words. 22 powerful human beings and I gathered together to awaken the wild woman in the forest of Michigan and together we connected in sisterhood, rejuvenated and remembered the wisdom that lives within each of us.
I was so incredibly grateful to be supported by two of my best friends, Megan Lendman of Megan Lendman Photography and Rachel Leah Gerson of Doorway to Self. These two amazing women contributed their beautiful healing touches to the weekend through powerful photography services and sacred healing sessions.
Our amazing Chef Monica hand prepared the most beautiful organic meals and nourished us throughout the weekend. It was such a gift to enjoy such healing foods.
The retreat really was absolutely magical, and I am absolutely in awe of the powerful women who said YES to themselves and attended this retreat.
It was also incredibly special to return to Michigan after almost a year. Michigan will forever hold a very dear place in my heart as I called it home for a few years during my schooling to become a Naturopathic Doctor. There is something about this wild earth, lush forest and deep stillness that nearly brings me to tears every time I come back.
It's always interesting to return to a place after we have experienced a huge amount of growth and change in our own personal lives, and so I was intrigued to see how it would feel to be back in Michigan after such a transformative and big year. I am so grateful that I felt completely received by Michigan and by my amazing community of dear friends in the Grand Rapids area.
I will always call Michigan one of my homes and already look forward to returning and spending more time here throughout the year.
As I write this, I am preparing to return home out West but feel grounded and clear that I will be back and continue to be part of this beautiful community of women in Grand Rapids and throughout the state.
Thank you, Michigan. Thank you, wild sisters. Thank you, Universe.
