Orgasmic Pancake Recipe ~ GF + Vegan Options
I promise I didn't catfish you with the title. These pancakes really are... well, orgasmic! My soul sister Megan and I made these pancakes a couple weeks ago and haven't been able to stop daydreaming about them.
So, I finally made them again and they were just as epic the second time! I'm excited to share this super simple recipe with you!
The recipe is gluten free and if you are vegan, you can simply opt for a flax egg instead of a regular egg.
- Orgasmic Pancake Recipe -
-1 cup gluten free pancake mix
-1 scoop of protein powder of choice (I like Garden of Life or Primal Nutrition)
-3/4 cup water
-1 tbsp melted butter or coconut oil
-1 tsp vanilla
-1/4 tsp cinnamon
-dash of sea salt
-1/4 cup organic chocolate chips
-1/4 cup blueberries
Makes 4 -6 pancakes
How to make the pancakes:
-Mix everything together in one large bowl
-Add in optional ingredients at the end if desired
-On your stove, heat up a pancake skillet or a large frying pan
-When the skillet is hot, pour pancake mix onto pan
-Flip when ready and then serve immediately
I garnished mine with some organic grass fed butter (you could also use coconut oil!), organic almond butter and walnut or cashew pieces. You could also add some maple syrup or honey too if desired though I think they taste great without a sweetener.
That's it! Super simple, incredibly delicious and you only dirty one bowl! That's my kind of recipe!
