On Thursday, March 1st the moon waxes to its fullest point in the Full Moon time. Aligning in the earth sign of Virgo, this sacred moon time is a powerful space for the feminine!
Virgo is a sign of the feminine as well as the healer. This Full Moon holds a sacred space for us to tune into our inner healer and connect even deeper to the Divine Feminine within!
Virgo represents the High Priestess, the fully embodied woman who walks this earth with a feminine grace and deep connection to intuition, the earth and her own inner wisdom. Virgo also represents the virgin. The word virgin did not always mean sexually chaste or pure. Virgo once simply meant unmarried or maiden.
The meaning has obviously changed over the years, but it's important to note that Virgo was once the symbol of the sovereign, empowered woman.
So what does it mean to connect to the Divine Feminine or the Priestess within?
It means connecting to the limitless flow of the feminine!
Within your body you cycle and flow and change every month in deep, ancient rhythms. Finding empowerment and joy in your body and actively choosing to embrace it is the first step in living connected to the Divine Feminine.

-Dance! The Full Moon is the ultimate time to move and flow and be free! Turn on some empowering music and allow your body to flow in any way that feels good. Dancing is such a sacred expression and is often most powerful when we let go of the need to have certain steps or movements and instead just move in any way that our body wants. If there is an ecstatic dance going on in your community, that is also an amazing way to celebrate the full moon! -Journal what needs to be decluttered in your life. Virgo is a sign of organization and clarity and so you may be feeling the need to organize your priorities, home, needs or relationships. Allow yourself to create healthy boundaries.
-Get outside and soak up this sacred moon! One of the best ways to celebrate a full moon is to be outside beneath it. Lay outside, go for a walk or go swimming in a river or ocean to soak up the healing Virgo moon!
